There are hundreds of ways to use essential oils from aromatherapy to treating skin conditions! Essential oils have been used for centuries be many different cultures. In the last few decades interest in essential oils has been reinvigorated with the popularity of aromatherapy and holistic approaches to medicine.
Before using any type of essential oil you should always keep the following in mind:
- Check with a physician or licensed professional—some essential oils can cause allergic reactions.
- Always read the instructions on the bottle before use
- Dilute your essential oils—some essential oils are extremely volatile. Adding them to a carrier oil like jojoba oil, avocado oil or grapeseed oil can help the body better absorb the oil
Also keep in mind that some essential oils are not intended to be around children or pets and some should also not be used when pregnant or lactating.

Allspice
